PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the transfer of a toner image and the destaticization at the time of cleaning to remove residual toner on a photosensitive drum and to obtain a good-quality image in an image forming device by preventing the electrostatically charged amount of toner from lowering and performing excellent development even though deterioration is caused by using two-component developer. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatically charged amount of the toner of the two- component developer in a developing device main body 40 is indirectly detected based on relation between toner concentration and the electrostatically charged amount of the toner, and the toner concentration of the developer is adjusted through the supply amount of the toner to the device main body 40, then the electrostatically charged amount of the toner is controlled not to be insufficient even though the deterioration of carrier by using the developer is caused. Therefore, development excellent in the electrostatically charged amount of the toner is performed, so that the transfer of the toner image and the destaticization at the time of cleaning to remove the residual toner on the photosensitive drum 1 are efficiently performed in the image forming density. |
