PURPOSE:To perform a recognition processing at a high speed by a fingerprint processor which registers the peripheral image of a fingerprint feature point that a registered fingerprint has, as a feature point window image, and also registers relative position relation between feature point window images, and then evaluates the degree of matching between the feature point window images and a fingerprint image to be recognized while considering the positional relation to recognize the object fingerprint. CONSTITUTION:The fingerprint collating processor is equipped with a control means 16 which controls information on the collation result of collation with the fingerprint image of the fingerprint to be recognized corresponding to respective feature point window images and information on the pixel position of the collation processing and a judging means 17 which judges whether or not the collating processing between the features point window images and the fingerprint image of the object fingerprint is completed; when the judging means 17 judges that the collation processing is completed, the corresponding collation result information controlled by the control means 16 is utilized. |
