<p>PURPOSE:To increase the traffic of an exchange switch by performing the exchange switching under the external control at a trunk line exchange node. CONSTITUTION:A switch controller 6 is provided in a network of a changeover switch system and connected to a switch controller interface of a trunk line exchange node 5. Thus the controller 6 performs the switch control of a changeover switch. Then the direction and the passable time are sequentially and cyclically switched by the controller 6 for output trunk line of the node 5 that is decided in consideration of the volume of cells flowing through the trunk lines 4, 4... per unit time and the output queue in the cell queue buffer of each node 5. Thus the even load is shared by each trunk line and the switching time is shortened per cell. Then the traffic of an exchange switch is increased and the smooth transfer of cells is attained.</p> |
