PURPOSE:To set different selling prices on respective terminals according to the installation places and to control the quantities of merchandises which are sold, counter by counter. CONSTITUTION:A controller 2 to which the terminal devices 3a, 3b... and 4a, 4b... are connected is provided with a table 5 storing the relation between discrimination data for discriminating the terminal devices and kinds for classifying the terminal devices and a file 6 storing merchandise data by the kinds, article by article. The controller 2 retrieves a kind corresponding to discrimination data, sent from a terminal device together with merchandise data, in the table 5, and retrieves corresponding merchandise data on the basis of the merchandise code sent from the terminal device and the kind read out of the table 5 and sends the data to the terminal device. |
