PURPOSE:To prevent a bag for retaining blood for transfusion which has not yet been exposed to radiation from being used by mistake so as to enhance safety against GVHD by making it possible to easily determine through visual observation whether or not a bag for retaining blood for transfusion has been exposed to radiation. CONSTITUTION:A radiation exposure indicator 13 having a radiosensitive material (material sensitive to radiation)14 whose color is varied by exposure to radiation is integrally attached to a bag main body 11 to form a bag for retaining blood for transfusion and variation in the color of the radiosensitive material 14 indicates that the bag has been exposed to radiation.
