PURPOSE:To provide a vacuum molding method capable of markedly enhancing the yield of a skin material and improved in molding efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum mold 10 wherein a flange part 12 having a shape almost approximate to that of the bottom part of a mold main body 11 formed to the lower part of the mold main body 11 is covered with a skin material A preheated to proper temp. and the skin material A is held by the side surface of the flange part 12 and, subsequently, the skin material A is molded by the vacuum mold. |
