The appts. has an analogue-digital converter (2) connected to a computer (1), electrically connected to a control plate (3) and a converter (4a) and a potential stabiliser (4b) in a measurement plate (4). A dosing unit (6) connected to the control plate (3), is pref. operated by a step motor (5) to take titration fluid from a supply container (7) through a fluid feed (12) and magnet valves (8a, 8b), for delivery to the titration vessel (11) under program control. Two titration electrodes (9a, 9b) at the vessel are pref. connected to the measurement plate (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is used for the redn. of heavy metal ions in wine. The titration assembly is fully automatic for routine operation, without a skilled operative, with a display or print-out of the opening and final values for the automatic operations.
