The basic dye-dyeable fiber is made by adding 0.5-2.5 mol% (against acid component) of the modifying component of formula (1) (where R; H,CH,CH2CH2OH, M; Na,Li,K), and the compound of 0.2-3 times the weight of formula (1), shown in formula (II) (where R; H,CH,CH3,CH2CH2OH, M; Na,Li,K, n; 15-47) to the polymerization process. The fiber made by the method has improved mechanical property and alkali-resistant property.
