Round bale chopper - has roller drum of same width revolving in parallel and above tined roller

The bale chopper (1) has a horizontal conveyor belt in the bottom (3) which presses the bale (2) against a tined roller (4). This roller teases out the straw from the bale and throws it onto a rotating propeller (6), which distributes it over the ground or floor. An additional roller drum (5), the same width as the tined roller, is mounted parallel to and above it. The tined roller is located immediately above the conveyor and the roller drum is directly above that. The pressure of the bale on the rollers is constant and the depth penetrated by the tines into the bale is uniform, which results in an even flow of material onto the propeller. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use with hay, straw or silage. Can process large or small bales.
