PURPOSE:To obtain a bathtub apparatus requiring no maintenance over a long period of time by providing a passage changeover means selectively connecting the flow passage of a purifier to the jet port of a bathtub or the drain port of a circulating piping system and providing an air diffusing pipe spraying air on the activated stone of the purifier. CONSTITUTION:A bathtub 1 provided with a suction port 11 and a jet port 12, the circulating piping system 3 communicating with the suction port 11 and the jet port 12, the circulating pump 21, heater 23 and purifier 24 connected to the circulating piping system 3, the filter 22 arranged on the upstream side of those machineries at the position communicating with the suction port 11 and a three-way valve 6 as a passage changeover means selectively connecting the passage on the downstream side of the purifier 24 to either one of the jet port 12 of the bathtub 1 or the discharge port 4 of the circulating piping system 3 are provided. The purifier 24 is packed with activated stones S and an air diffusing pipe 25 spraying the air from an air pump 26 on the activated stones S under predetermined pressure is arranged on the upstream side in the circulating direction of the purifier. |
