PURPOSE:To provide the surface lighting display having a large visible angle with a few of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A lighting plate 2 is provided opposite to an optical fiber 1 as a spot-like light source, and multiple distribution refractive index type concave lenses 3 are formed in the view point 7 side of the lighting plate 2. Luminescent spots 8 (virtual images) of the same number as the lenses 3 are thereby generated to obtain the plane-like lighting condition and obtain a visible angle larger than the visible angle thetaF of the optical fiber 1 as a light source. As a standard, only one optical fiber 1 is used to reduce a cost remarkably. |
