PURPOSE:To form a graph to be easily observed by arranging data in the descending order of values shown by data. CONSTITUTION:Respective element data constituting data to be graphed and attribute data are stored in a data storing means 110. A detection means 120 detects specific element data for the item of 'others' e.g. out of respective element data stored in the means 110 and outputs the specific element data to a data arranging means 130. The means 130 rearranges respective element data other than the specific element data based on values shown by respective data and arranges the specific element data independently of the data arrangement obtained by the processing. The arranged result is stored in a buffer formed in the means 10. A layout means 140 layouts a graph such as a circular graph based on the data stored in the buffer in the means 110 and the attribute data stored in the means 1 10 and outputs the layouted graph to an output means 150.
