PURPOSE:To wind a coil at accurate curvature and without unevenness by sending out a band-shaped wire material wound on a drum to a leveler while controlling it in a fixed position, and correcting curls with the leveler, and giving reverse distortion with a reverse distortion roller after controlling the tension, and then, rotating and shifting a bobbin for winding the line material, depending upon the winding condition. CONSTITUTION:A band-shaped wire material 4 wound on a drum 21 is sent out of a line material feeder 20 to a leveler 30 always from a specified position while monitoring it with sensors 25 and 25 and controlling a base guide 23 and a motor 26. At the leveler 30, the curls are amended with a plurality of rollers 31 and a brake roller 32 and a powder brake 32C within a roller adjuster 70, and tension is given. Next, it is wound on the bobbin 51 of a winder 50 after being given reverse distortion with a reverse distortion roller 42. The rotation in arrow direction is controlled by shifting the rotary shaft of the bobbin 51 into O, O', and O'', according to the advance situation of the winding. Hereby, a race-truck-type or elliptic coil at accurate curvature and without unevenness can be manufactured. |
