PURPOSE:To easily rearrange and divide registered contents by registering auxiliary information in a user registration dictionary together with registered words and phrases. CONSTITUTION:When an operator specifies a word or phrase on the screen of the display device 4, a CPU 1 displays a screen for inputting the pronunciation of said specified word or phrase and auxiliary information on the display device 4. Consequently, when the operator inputs the pronunciation and auxiliary information, the CPU l registers the specified word or phrase and its pronunciation, and auxiliary information in the user registration dictionary in a main memory 3. Then when the operator inputs a selection command for the auxiliary information, the CPU 1 reads the auxiliary information out of the user dictionary and displays it on the display device 4. When the operator selects one of piece of auxiliary information, the CPU 1 reads the registered word or phrase having the auxiliary information out of the user dictionary and displays it on the display device 4, and when the operator specifies a process, the CPU 1 performs the specified process for the display word or phrase. |
