PURPOSE:To allow a visually handicapped person to use the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A reception section 2 extracts only a call signal to its own terminal equipment from a high frequency signal, a decoder 3 decodes the signal into character information and stores the information to a memory section 5. On the other hand, a vibration section 4 is used to inform a fact of a call to the user. Character information read from the memory section 5 is converted into arrangement information of dots forming a braille by a character control section 6 and a braille display section 8 is driven. A display command operation section 7 is an input panel controlling read of the memory. The braille display section 8 has a character panel and projecting elements arranged on the character panel and a braille is formed by sets of the projecting elements according to the inputted braille information to allow a person to read a character by a touch sense. |
