PURPOSE:To obtain the radio selective calling receiver having a memory alert function able to immediately discriminate when an automatic stop call for a notice operation is arrived. CONSTITUTION:The radio selective calling receiver having a memory alert function is provided with an antenna 1, a radio section 2, a waveform shaping circuit 3, a decoder 4, a CPU 5, an ID-ROM 6, a driver section 7, a memory 8, a speaker 9, an LED 10, a power supply switch 11 and a notice operation stop switch 12 similarly to the case with the receiver employing a conventional technology. A counter 51 in the CPU 5 counts a time from the start of notice operation till the automatic stop of the notice. A counter 52 counts a time from a point of time when the notice operation is automatically stopped till a memory alert notice of a notice automatic stop call and a CPU 6 selects a relevant notice content (content of ring tone and LED lighting notice) from an automatic stop call set in advance in the ID-ROM 6 based on the difference from the count time of the counter 52. |
