A rotary sieving rake has a motor-driven, endless travelling screen (3) formed by successively arranged, lamellar sieving blocks (5) of a plurality of spaced apart, parallel plates (7), secured on a carrying shaft (9) and forcibly guided by at least one guiding lever (31) linked to said carrying shaft, by means of a radial cam designed as a guiding rail (33). The sieving blocks (5) are spaced apart so that all adjacent sieving blocks have overlapping areas. This rotary sieving rake is characterized in that the plates (7) which constitute the sieving blocks (5) are shaped as an approximately rectangular, scalene triangle whose corner A is intersected at a predetermined lenght by the hypotenuse c, forming a gripping edge (59) perpendicular to the plane of the plates with an adjacent gliding marginal surface (60) at an angle alpha from 5 DEG to 15 DEG , preferably a 10 DEG angle, and whose other corner b is rounded at the hypotenuse c which forms a clearing marginal surface (57). One edge of the plate (7) is concavely shaped in the area of the short cathetus b of the triangle between the corners A and C, in order to form a receiving marginal surface (53). |
