<p>A waste disposal container has an outer box (1) with a foldable flap arrangement (3, 4, 5, 6). An inner liner box (2) resides in the outer box (1). The outer box (1) has an opening (20) aligned with an opening (30) in the liner box (2). Waste products are dispensed through the openings (20, 30) into the interior of the liner box (2). The liner box (2) has a plastic bag cover (31) which has edges (32) located around the opening (30). The outer box (1) has a flap (3) which closes the opening (20) and seals the box (2) so that it can be delivered for incineration. Any fluid which is present in the liner box (2) from disposed syringes and needles etc. is held in the liner box (2) when upright. If the container should be displaced from its upright position fluid is retained by the edges (32) formed by the plastic bag (31). The risk of contamination from escaping fluid is reduced.</p> |
