PURPOSE:To enable stable driving of a vehicle at the time of acceleration by performing traction control in a simple system construction, in the case of a vehicle on which a continously variable transmission is mounted. CONSTITUTION:Driving force of an engine 1 is transmitted to drive wheels 22, 23 by means of a continously variable transmission equipped with a pulley 3 on the input side, a pulley 4 on the output side and a belt 5. In case when the driving wheels are slipped at the time of starting the vehicle or rapid acceleration, etc., a change ratio of the continuously variable transmission is varied to the speed change ratio wherein the dribing torque is reduced to such an extent as not causing any slip of the driving wheels, in a continuously variable transmission controller 10. Consequently, stability of the driving wheels can be secured. |
