<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the objective composition excellent in acid resistance and scratch resistance by forming a curable resin paint composition which consists essentially of a specified vinyl resin and a specified compound and forms a cured film containing a specified amount of hydrocarbon rings. CONSTITUTION:A curable resin coating composition which consists essentially of a hydroxylated vinyl resin having hydrocarbon rings, preferably comprising a resin obtained by copolymerizing a vinyl monomer containing hydrocarbon rings (e.g. styrene), a hydroxylated vinyl monomer (e.g. 1,4-butanediol monoacrylate) and other vinyl monomer (e.g. n-buthyl acrylate), and an amino resin and/or a (blocked) polyisocyanate compound (e.g. a methylated, isobutylated mixed etherified melamine resin) and which forms a cured film containing hydrocarbon rings in an amount of 13-40wt.% based on the resin components.</p> |
