PURPOSE:To provide the connector with grounding fitting for improving the workability of the work for inserting a connector into a printed wiring board. CONSTITUTION:A connector is provided with a grounding fitting 1, of which tip has the umbrella-like shape and which deforms a wide width part 3b of a grounding fitting insertion hole 3 of a printed wiring board 2 into a shape for easily allowing the pass of the grounding fitting when the external force F is applied and which restores the wide width part 3b to the original shape when the external force F is eliminated and of which umbrella-like base part 4 abuts on the back surface of the printed wiring board 2 at a narrow width part 3a of the grounding fitting insertion hole 3 for fixture. The printed wiring board 2 is provided with projecting grounding fitting insertion holes 3 respectively having a narrow width part 3a and a wide width part 3b for the insertion and the fixture of the grounding fitting 1. Consequently, in the work for inserting a connector into a printed wiring board, the insertion of a connector into the grounding fitting insertion hole is facilitated. Furthermore, the inclination of the connector due to own weight thereof before the soldering of the grounding fitting and the printed wiring board is prevented. |
