The subminiature switch is adapted for use with surface mount technology. The switch is made up of a base with a conducting grill (2) formed of parallel bands, an insulated source (1) on the grill defining contact zones on different parts of the grill, and at least one metal movable contact foil (5,6) attached to the source and able to establish electrical contact between two contact zones. A positioner (7) for the contact foil before a track in cooperation with a plunger (8) move the foil to at least one stable position. The switch and an oscillating lever (10) are mounted in an insulated box (11) which covers the source and oscillating lever with respect to the guides of the source and against the mobile contacts. The contact terminals (4) and fixed arms (3) of the switch are sectioned on opposite sides of the source of function as the switch. USE/ADVANTAGE - Switch for printed circuit.
