<p>PURPOSE:To display a message with a small amount of data without increasing the capacity of a memory by providing the operation display panel with a message displaying function. CONSTITUTION:In this method, a loader 10 which sets functions for a communication with an external device 9 and the generation of a display screen, an interface bus 11, an EEPROM 3 which stores data generated by the loader 10, a transparent touch key 6 for displaying the stored data, and operation switches 8 are used. Then, the character string data for a message display is set by the loader 10 and the data are given individual numbers and stored in the EEPROM 3. When data are received from the external device 9, it is checked whether or not the data contains data for the message display, its number is read out, and the character string of the message corresponding to the number is taken out of the EEPROM 3, so that the message is incorporated and displayed in a specific area of the transparent touch key 6.</p> |
