The material consists of absorbent (3, 3a) and separating (2, 2b) layers, used to form a base and a lid.The layers (2, 3) are moulded on a frame matrix made from elements (1) of a porous material which can be pierced with holes to permit the transfer of a liquid or gas from one side of the frame to the other. The frame elements (1) can either be joined together or left separate and isolated from one another and, in certain configurations, be formed to form a reservoir which accumulates certain elements, such as water.The material can be used in large or small sections, with either possessing the same properties. ADVANTAGE - Suitable for packing granular or powdered material, or plants prepared for a planting machine.
