<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy regulation of paper trailing edge in two kinds of size in a universal paper feeding cassette which can select and contain various sizes of paper by providing paper width regulating plates, a fixed trailing edge regulating member and a removable trailing edge regulating means. CONSTITUTION:This universal paper feeding cassette 10 has a bottom part including a movable bottom plate 12 which is pushed up by a push-up lever at setting of paper feeding part into a copier body, and this bottom part is provided with paper width regulating plates 13A and 13B in parallel with the paper-feeding direction on it. Each of the paper width regulating plates 13A and 13B is mounted by engagement with an optional one of a plurality of holes provided at the bottom part. In the cassette body, a fixed trailing edge regulating member 14 and a removable trailing edge regulating unit 15 are provided so as to enable regulation of paper trailing edges in two sizes. The trailing edge regulating unit 15 is removed when not in use and replaced by a cover member 16 similarly removed from the cassette bottom part.</p> |
