PURPOSE:To provide a detergent composition comprising a nonionic surfactant, a neutral protease, etc., a metal ion-sequestering agent, a benzotriazole, etc., in specific amounts, excellent in cleaning endoscopes and not injuring their materials. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises 20-33 pts.wt. of a nonionic surfactant (e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl or alkenyl ether containing a 10-20C alkyl or alkenyl group and 1-20 moles of the addition-reacted ethylene oxide), (B) 20-33 pts.wt. of a neutral and/or alkaline protease having an activity of 10000-60000Au/g, (C) 20-33.5 pts.wt. of a metal ion-sequestering agent (e.g. nitrilotriacetic acid salt or citric acid), and (D) 0.05-0.5 pt.wt. of a benzotriazole or its amine salt, the composition giving a pH of 7-8 when dissolved in water. |
