A pallet constructed in accordance with the invention is comprised of a sheet of material (5) which has been folded to form the load-supporting surface (1) of the pallet and a frame (2) which extends around the supportive surface, and which further comprises feet (3) which are attached to the folded underside of the sheet inwardly of the inner-defining surface of the frame. An inventive method involves manufacturing a pallet which includes a sheet of material and feet attached thereto, wherein a flat sheet of material is folded to form a load-supporting surface and a frame (2) which surrounds the supportive surface and the height of which corresponds essentially to the height of the feet, whereafter the feet are attached to the underside of the sheet. The invention also relates to the use of the pallet as a cover for pallet-carried goods. |
