The pressurised container, especially an aerosol container for a prod. in liq. or paste form, incorporates an inner chamber (8) designed to contain a gas under a relatively high pressure, equipped with a valve (20) which responds to the pressure outside the chamber. The chamber (8) contains an absorbent (21) in granule or powder form, designed to increase substantially the quantity of gas in the chamber. The adsorbent can be, for example, active carbon with a specific surface area of 500-1500 sq m/g, or zeolite or a molecular mesh, while the high-pressure gas in the chamber (8) can be CO2 or N20. ADVANTAGE - Allows increase in propellant gas content without raising pressure inside chamber.
