The material to be granulated is agitated in a mixer, with heating if necessary, with two or more substances likely to form one other substance e.g., MgO and butyl phosphate. One of these substances acts as a granulation additive, and is in the form of a liquid, dissolved, dispersed or melted. Uses of the granules are as fertilisers, fire extinguishing or in wire drawing. |
