The different steps in the method are represented using Figures 1A and 1E in which may be seen a fluted plastic board (alveolate sheet) (1) conveyed on a supporting table (2) by a conveyor, not shown. This board (1), thrust by the rollers of the conveyor (not shown), slides over the table and comes into abutment with a limit-stop device (4), as shown in Figure 1B. A presser unit (3), serving to immobilise the board on the table (2), is actuated by a first actuator cylinder (30), or any other device, in order to come into contact with the board and to press it onto the table (2). Once the presser unit (3) has been installed, in order to press the board (1) against the table (2), the limit stop (4) is withdrawn by means of a second actuator cylinder (not shown) which enables a limit stop (4) to be moved between an active position in which it serves to stop the boards and a retracted position in which it is inactive. The retraction of the limit stop is sufficient to enable the welding bar (5), which is mounted at the end of a third actuator cylinder (55), to pass. |
