<p>The sector of the present invention is that of safety and arming devices for fuses intended for equipping spinning projectiles. The safety and arming device according to the invention comprises a rotor (8) which carries a primer (9) and which is held by a bolt (15, 29) in a position in which the primer is not aligned with a main pyrotechnic chain, this device being characterised in that the bolt (15, 29) is kept bearing on the rotor (8) by an immobilising means (17, 30) sufficiently rigid to keep up this bearing when the device is subjected to the stresses caused by impact or vibration, the immobilising means freeing the bolt (15, 29) after the projectile has been fired.
