PURPOSE:To take only the desired part out of a prepared document and to improve the editing efficiency for preparation of a document by designating a part of the document and reading out this designated part as a partial document. CONSTITUTION:When an optional document is designated by a designating means 102, a document reading means 103 reads the designated document out of a document storage means 101. Then a part of the read document is designated as a partial document by the means 102. Thus a partial document reading means 104 reads the designated partial document out of the read document and stored in a partial document storage means 105. Then this partial document is shown on a display means 106. Thus it is possible to read out the sentences included in the designated range as a partial document and therefore to improve the editing efficiency when a part of another sentence is taken out and used. |
