A tape guide roller consisting of an outer cylinder (1) formed by drawing a thin non-magnetic metal plate, and an inner cylinder (2) of a synthetic resin fitted into the outer cylinder (1). The outer cylinder (1) has at one end part thereof a bent portion (1a) formed simultaneously with the drawing operation and buried in the synthetic resin of the inner cylinder (2). The bent portion (1a) is provided with at least one recess (1b) extending in the radially outward direction of the outer cylinder (1). The other end part of the outer cylinder (1) may also be provided with a bent portion (1c) formed simultaneously with the drawing operation, and this bent portion (1c) is also buried in the synthetic resin of the inner cylinder (2). This effectively prevents the inner cylinder from axial and rotational movements in the outer cylinder (1). |
