The retainers consist of two or four reversing gears (15). These are held in a guide rail, so as to be displaceable at right angles to the transport direction of the parts. The drive-sided members of the reversing gears for the two/ four template carriers (18) are held non-turnably and axially moveable on a common drive shaft (13). This in turn is connected to the actuator drive (20). The reversing gears are formed as bevel gear pairs, each with two bevel gears (16,17). The drive-sided bevel gear is held on the drive shaft, and the take-off-sided bevel gear is non-turnably fastened to the template carrier. USE/ADVANTAGE - Neighbouring template carriers are at continuously adjustable relative distance, and are pivoted by common actuator drive.
