The proposal is for a breaking machine, especially an impact crusher (1) with at least one drivable rotor (6) fitted with crushing components (5) and fitted inside a casing (2) and at least one impact mechanism (7) fitted with crushing components (8) facing the rotor. The impact mechanism(s) (7) is/are fitted in at least one frame (9) independent of the casing (2) which can be pivoted into an approximately horizontal position outside the casing (2) together with the impact mechanisms (7).
