PURPOSE:To provide the inclination of an object surface in a short time without having the influence of lighting condition by filtering the two-dimensional image of a three-dimensional object to estimate the inclination of the whole area of the target, and integrating this inclination to determine the three-dimensional form. CONSTITUTION:A two-dimensional image obtained by photographing a target object 1 surface by a video camera 2 is A/D-converted 3, and a X(Y)-directional space filter group 5(6) filters only the X(Y)-directional frequency component in the object 1. A frequency shift quantity arithmetic part 7 compares the distributions of the frequency component RF passed through the filter group 5(6) and the standard frequency component BF of the object 1 when it has no inclination to the optical axis of the camera 2 to each other to determine X, Y-directional frequency shift quantities Sx, Sy of the component RF to the component BF. A surface inclination arithmetic part 8 receiving them calculates the X,Y-directional inclinations omegax, omegay of the subject 1 surface with a specified equation. A three-dimensional form arithmetic part 9 integrates the inclinations omegax, omegay on X, Y plans to restore the three-dimensional form. |
