The deformable insulating conduit, esp. for an electrical cable or a wire of similar nature, comprises a wall of which the inner surface at least equipped with a series of alternating annular grooves (2b) and ribs (2c), and equipped with at least one draw line (3) which passes through the duct from end to end and is separate from its wall. The draw line comprises a monofilament plastic core with a low coefft. of friction in relation to the duct, being flexible over a substantial length but rigid in a short length. The duct can have the alternating ribs and recesses in both its inner and outer walls, with the ribs on the inner surfaces in lie with the recesses in the outer one. Both the duct and draw line are of plastic, with the draw line made from a polyamide and the duct of a polyolefin. ADVANTAGE - Provides duct which is more flexible, with draw line which can be pulled through it without breaking.
