PURPOSE:To increase high rate discharge performance by adding a material which has an electrolyte holding ability to an active material of cathode plate. CONSTITUTION:For example, 0.3-2.0wt% of anion exchange resin powder is mixed to active material 6 of clad type cathode plate 1. For example, a specified resin film is spirally wound so as to arrange a micropore coating layer 4 in its inside, and its lapped part is bonded by hot-melting to form a tube 2 whose inner diameter is 9mm and length is 275mm. 1.5wt% of anion exchange resin powder prepared by converting polystyrene family quaternary ammonium form into an HSO4 form, and whose particle size is limited to 0.07-0.15mm is added to lead powder, and the mixture is filled in the 14 tubes 2, and a clad type cathode plate is manufactured by usual method. |
