<p>PURPOSE:To prevent grounding of a jumper wire due to a nest-building material of a bird by rolling an insulation sheet with a tooth-shaped protrusion provided around the jumper wire and then suspending a middle part of the insulation sheet upward by a suspension insulator. CONSTITUTION:An insulation sheet 1 is rolled around a jumper wire 5 between transmission lines 10 supported to an arm 6 of a steel tower, thus enabling tooth-shaped protrusions 2 and 3 on each surface of the overlapped insulation sheet 1 to be engaged without becoming loose. Therefore, even if a bird perches on a steal tower-with a wire, etc., of a nest-building material in its mouth and the wire, etc., hangs down on a jumper wire, it does not directly contact the jumper wire 5, thus preventing a grounding accident. Also, since a surrounding of a protection sleeve 12 which covers a middle part of the insulation sheet 1 is supported by a suspension clamp 13 and is suspended by a suspension insulator 14 so that no rain water does not stay between the insulation sheet and the jumper wire, thus preventing the jumper wire from being corroded and achieving safety over a long period of time.</p> |
