摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure the good recording picture at all times in correspondence to the scanning density by varying the heat generating energy to be supplied to the heat generator of the heat-sensitive recording head in accordance with the scanning line density. CONSTITUTION:In case picture signal (a) is recorded with the scanning line density of, for example, 7.7 lines/mm., transistor TRQ of voltage generating circuit 8 is turned off by scanning line density signal (c). As a result, the feedback voltage to be supplied to error amplifying circuit 8B rises up. Circuit 8B applies the error voltage between the feedback voltage of its own and the reference voltage generated from reference voltage generating circuit 8C to voltage control circuit 8A. Circuit 8A gives the control to DC voltage (b) supplied in order to secure the zero error voltage, and as a result the output voltage of circuit 8 is lowered to supply low voltage (d) to driving circuit 6. Accordingly, the heat generating element of heat- sensitive recording head 3 generates the heat at the temperature according to voltage (d). Then in case the recording is carried out with the scanning line density of 3.85 lines/mm., the TRQ is turned on to supply high voltage (d) to circuit 6. As a result, the area is increased for the recording dot.
