The trailer comprises a U-shaped frame (1A) with a detachable rear bar (12A) and an independent wheel suspension system comprising an arm (4) which is pivoted to the front of the frame by an axle (8), and a pneumatic cushion (5) between the arm and frame, and pneumatic valves feeding the right-or left-hand cushion to tilt the trailer to one side or other. The rear end of each arm has a guide (9) which is able to slide along a vertical tube (11) joined to the frame by its upper end. The guide is of the same shape as the vertical tube but has a certain amount of play at the front and rear. The cushions are inflated or deflated to raise or lower the frame as required.
