The gas-bottle protection valve (6) is inserted in the path of the gas flow, between the bottle and the gas-using equipment, eg. a gas-welding set. The valve unit is designed to shut automatically only at very low pressure, typically less than 1 bar. The valve can be designed for direct connection to the bottle, or to an adaptor with pressure gauges and pressure reducing valve connected to the bottle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Gas bottle low-pressure protection valve prevents dirt penetrating into empty bottles, esp. as used for gas-welding.
