PURPOSE:To provide, in a concrete low-temperature liquefied gas storage tank, vapor barrier anchoring with sufficient strength and working porperty by using vapor barrier dowels with a smaller strength than vapor barrier wall. CONSTITUTION:Even though the side wall 6 and bottom panels 2 of a concrete low-temperature liquefied gas storage tank are made of concrete, metallic vapor barrier plates 1 and 4 are interconnected by annular metallic plates 10 and the inside of the wall 6 is entirely covered with metallic plates. Since the side wall 6 is connected to the bottom plates 2 bya free bearing mechanism A, no large bending moment works on the corner angle portions of the bottom of the tank. The plates 4 of the wall 6 are combined into a unitary body by a number of stud dowels 5. Therefore, the plate 4 are hardly seoarable and highly resistant to external force and the installation thereon can be easily performed with a portable welder. |
