The constructional unit (1) for objects such as furniture, toys etc. comprises two parallel circle arc shaped pieces (2,3) joined at the ends by struts (4-9) and extending over 180 deg. Two of the struts run parallel, and two at right angles, to the planes of the curved pieces. A panel rests on the ends of the curved pieces in the centre of which is a base frame preventing a rocking movement. Other struts (11,12) extend parallel to one set of the other struts (4,5,6,7). USE/ADVANTAGE- The constructional unit is easily adapted to various uses, esp. for adapting toys and furniture outgrown by a child.
