PURPOSE:To make easy conveying possible without caking of magnetic powder by disposing a scraper of nonmagnetic material to a magnet roll and making the angle that said scraper assumes to the tangent at the contact point with the magnet roll to the specific angle. CONSTITUTION:A magnet roll 3 having plural magnetic poles is disposed below a cleaning blade 2 and a magnetic roll 4 is disposed in opposition to this. A scraper 5 of nonmagnetic material is disposed in proximity or contact to or with the magnet roll 3 in the direction opposite from the revolving direction of the magnet roll so that the developer powder scraped thereby is sent out into the conveying path 6. This scraper 5 is mounted in such a manner that the angle theta that it assumes to the tangent at the point closest to or in contact with the magnet roll 3 becomes 40 deg. or less. Thereby, the magnetic powder scraped by passing the restraining magnetic field between the magnetic roll 3 and magnetic roll 4 is sent out into the conveying path by large conveying force without being caked. |
