PURPOSE:To provide the picture enlarging circuit which can output picture elements of an enlarged picture synchronously with an input clock by internally storing only required minimum picture data. CONSTITUTION:Plural one-dimensional enlargement circuits 21 and 22 including a request signal generating part which generates a data input request signal to request the data input and an interpolating circuit which interpolates input picture element data to output the interpolation output synchronously with the input clock and plural line buffers 24 and 25 which output inputted picture element data to plural one-dimensional enlargement circuits 21 and 22 only at the time of receiving the data input request signal are provided. |
