PURPOSE:To obtain a secondary battery having a low self electric discharging ratio, a high initial capacity, and high electric charging density of a carbon material by using a carbon material having a specific surface area as a negative electrode active material. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode active material for a band-like negative electrode 1 is made of a carbon material having a specific surface area of 0.5-10m<2>/gr. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a low self electric discharging ratio, a high initial capacity, high electric charging energy density of the carbon material, and an improved cycle characteristic. |
