PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitive recording material which is capable of preventing sticking phenomenon during printing and realizing high recording density and excellent gradation as well as preserving an image outstandingly. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive recording material consists of a support, a thermosensitive recording layer containing a coloring agent and a developer, and an overcoat layer laminated sequentially on a support. The overcoat layer is formed using a polymer which contains segmented silicone compound, preferably polyurethane. Further preferably, the overcoat layer contains segmented hydrocarbon, polyester or polyether as the polymer. |
