The container comprises a main body(1), in which is a package (5) with housing(30) in which bags(6) are stored. These are pulled out in succession through an opening(30) in the housing wall(31), the walls(31-35) being strong enough to support the weight of a bag filled with the material. At the top of the main body is a holder for the open bag mouth. The package can be in the bottom part of the main body, with the opening in the top of the housing or one of its sidewalls.
