PURPOSE:To secure the number of pages required for simulation while keeping the same actual page size as a system to be simulated. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting a simulator, an initializing means 10 initializes the system to the state, that the main storage of the simulator is not allocated to any actual storages of the system to be simulated, and initializes all of small pages, which should be allocated to actual storages of the system to be simulated, to the idle state. An address conversion means 20 calculates addresses in the simulator of small pages allocated to actual addresses by actual address of the system to be simulated and a request classification. A page allocating means 30 is called from the address conversion means 20 at the time of the first write access and allocates small pages in the simulator to small continuous areas in the actual page of the actual storage including the accessed address. |
